classical, blues, folk, and rock and roll.

Interesting facts about me

the consummate workaholic who enjoys the finer things in life. i spend a great deal of my career traveling about the work environment, most certainly including overseas. thusly, not the least bit fickle about the little stuff some folks get only too worked up about. besides, life is way too short to be ensnarled in the fear of failure or having regrets. yup, enjoy life and respect others is the key to longevity and sanity. my favorite activity for those rare moments when a quiet interlude appears are: (1.) filling in the grids of a crossword puzzle, (2.) buried within the pages of literature, (3.) getting together with friends, (4.) catching some precious sleep or (4.), engaged in a board game, beginning with chess, backgammon, or even Scrabble.

LOL! No brain fart there..I'm from NE Ohio and a die hard Sports Fan. I hope LeBron decides to stay with us after the playoffs this year...The Tribe needs some front office shaking up, The Browns will do well if only they make key choices in the upcoming NFL Draft. Thanks for your reply...It's great to meet you, I hope we can chat again soon! Merry Christmas to you and yours!

greetings. do hope you have a wonderful week as we head towards the end of the fourth quarter braving anything Ol' Man Winter presents. speaking of which presents are not all that great to begin with, must be one brave soul to withstand the great outdoors witnessing the Cleveland Browns live and in living color as the former New York Jets head coach and present to ya all Mangini is almost certainly history should Mike Holmgren take over the management reins next season. anyways, here's to a Merry Christmas and Happy 2010 New Year. oh yeah, ya all got Lebron James and the Shaq while us New Yawkers are stuck with the New York Knicks and New Jersey Nets. and should ya not be from either Cleveland nor even Ohio for that matter... nor follow sports- then kindly dismiss this banter as mere drivel due to a case of brain fart at the onset of the winter season. well hopefully the smartass will be able to survive yet another snowstorm in the big apple in the foreseeable future since this last one left us adrift in a little over a foot of nature's dandruff. and ya know what that means in the city that never sleeps??? all the flaws of residing amongst eight million two-legged creatures is blanketed with a pretty as a picture coating of the white stuff that surely becomes somewhat slippery when wet as a block of black ice. the sad part of it all is the next day the snow becomes a mishmash of slushy morass since nobody bothered to clean keep the streets and sidewalks clean as a whistle. woo hoo, let the good times begin with the ringing of the Christmas bells. be well...

greetings. don't matter whether Santa Claus nor St. Nicholas be either washing or watching my back since i tend to go to the extremes at times to test just how limited our existence on this big ol' rock is since someone a long, long time ago said something about life is short. but that don't necessarily mean folks outta take advantage of the situation by becoming desirous nor greedy nor any of the other stuff on dem granite tablets beknownst as the Ten Commandments. where is this going??? who knows for sure since i'm a strong believer in letting off on the clutch and just letting my fingers follow that ol' telephone company advertisement classic of "let your fingers do the walking" across the alphanumeric keyboard, also commonly known as spontaneous writing... or moreso a mind untethered from all restraints. speaking of which ain't it something else entirely how time literally flies??? once upon a time wee ones couldn't wait to become of age in order to register for a learner's permit to drive our parents' crazy with something under the hood with enough horsepower to go from the tricycle to bicycle to "mom, can i borrow the car keys?" and then the alienable right to register to vote became a solid case of which of the candidates on the slate was the lesser of evils. nowadays i'm beginning to spend a little more time thinking of the past over what lies ahead since there's no tellin' what the future holds other than the big two: death and taxes. well i was just hoping there was more than two options in life once we all hit the Big 5-0 and it suddenly dawned on me it's all downhill from here as our body slowly begins to break down a little faster with each new year. sad, huh??? but there's is one graceful moment for all of us as we keep warding of Father Time and the Grim Reaper... yup, having a positive attitude and enjoying each and every Merry Christmas and Happy New Year we can bear since there's no lifetime guarantee how many more anyone can bear once the crystal ball drops and the perennial classic Auld Lang Syne comes over the loudspeaker loud and clear. or is that the voices in the head??? who knows for sure since fond memories is also one of the thingys we get to behold as a blessing before a feller by Alzheimer beats a path to our front door and starts ringing the doorbell. and some folks open the door and let 'em in thinking it's the Avon Lady Calling. well anything is better than the Jehovah Witness folks passing through with their Awakening tract, no??? be well...
